Do you provide ambulance services? And if so, are they available to the general public?

We provide island wide ambulance services to all Barbadians and visitors. To book the ambulance service or for emergency assistance, contact our PBX at the number provided. In the event of an emergency our trained emergency personnel will respond promptly, and aim to provide safe, friendly and efficient services.

How can I make an appointment?

Appointments can be made in person, online or over the phone. To make an online appointment click here or call us at (246) 624-3278 and a receptionist will help complete the process with you.

What should I bring with me to my appointment?

Please bring a valid ID and your insurance information. Also if this is your first time at The Sparman Clinic please bring any documents relating to your medical history.

When are visiting hours?

The visiting hours for The Sparman Clinic are from 11AM- 1PM and 4PM-8PM

I am trying to lose weight, I know you have a dietitian, but are there any other services from which I may benefit?

Apart from our dietary clinic, there is a gym which is open to the general public. The opening hours for the gym are 8:00am to 7:00pm, Monday to Friday. General gym memberships and personal trainer sessions are available. Visit the Nutrition and Wellness section of our website, and feel free to contact our Reception Desk for information on our rates and the registration process.

When can I visit or contact the clinic for additional information on the services provided?

The Sparman Clinic is a 24-hour healthcare facility. Our Reception Desk is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to assist with any inquires.

Do you only provide Cardiology services?

Along with cardiac care we provide general health services that are openly accessible to the public.

Do I need to be referred to The Sparman Clinic in order to access the services provided?

All services at The Sparman Clinic are available to the public. We also welcome referrals from local, regional and international physicians.

What is the difference between a private and a public hospital?

Public and Private Hospitals have more similarities than differences, however there are some critical components that separate the two.   Private Hospitals, due to their size and specializations offer a more personalized and patient focused experience.  An added benefit to Private Facilities is having the opportunity to choose your physician.
